Gold Star Competition

The Gold Star Street Series is a competition exclusive to Tri State Motorsports. We began this competition in 1997 in response to the many inquires we had concerning showing street driven vehicles at our indoor events. The International Show Car Association competition is the most competitive and the most intense. Judging in this competition is extremely meticulous and detailed. Many exhibitors that have beautifully customized cars and trucks such as Street Rods and Street Machines preferred not to compete with the ISCA trailered show vehicles. This led Southern Wheels Productions, Inc. to develop the Gold Star Street Series competition for these exhibitors.

The Gold Star Street Series competition does not judge the undercarriage or trunk of a vehicle. Only the paint, body, and interior are judged. The vehicles are classed and placed in categories similar to ISCA classifications. In addition, vehicles are not penalized because of minor road wear which cannot been seen by the casual observer.

The Gold Star Street Series winners and runners up receive beautiful trophies. There are no ISCA points awarded since this is a local competition and is not a part of the ISCA competition.
